Barcelona’s annual experimental and electronic music festival, Sónar also holds parallel events around the world and, this September, is coming to Chicago for the first time.
It presents a multidisciplinary line-up with an experimental slant, focusing on emerging talent. The three-day Chicago festival will include all of the innovative features that have made the Barcelona event an international benchmark.
Sonar Chicago concerts will take place at the Chicago Cultural Center and the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park. Sonar Chicago is an initiative by Advanced Music and AC Entertainment in collaboration with the Institut Ramon Llull and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.
